How does ‘LEMONADE’ signal the next chapter of aespa’s journey?

WINTER: I think this album shows an expansion of both aespa’s lore and our musical spectrum. Since it is a full-length album, we wanted each track to show a different side of aespa. There are songs that feel intense and heavy, but also tracks that are witty, energetic, and playful. While it still carries the familiar strength of aespa, I think listeners will also be able to feel a stronger message and a new direction within it. I hope fans listen to this album and feel that aespa has opened another new door. 

 

What does Becky G add to the LEMONADE remix that is fresh and different from the original?

WINTER: Becky G’s powerful rap matched really well with the members’ voices. The original version has aespa’s own sharp and energetic color, but the version featuring Becky G has a slightly different charm. It feels a little more free and exciting, so I think it is a great version to listen to when you want to let go a bit and enjoy the moment — maybe even while driving, safely of course. 

 

What can fans expect from the upcoming tour? How are preparations going for the stages?

WINTER: With our new tour, “SYNK : COMPLæXITY,” we’re so excited to visit so many new cities and meet fans who may be seeing us live for the first time. We really want to make each show feel special and show everyone how much aespa has grown, both as performers and as a team.

윈터: 베키 지의 파워풀한 랩이 저희 멤버들의 목소리와 정말 잘 어우러졌어요. 원곡이 에스파만의 날카롭고 에너지 넘치는 색깔을 담고 있다면, 베키 지가 피처링으로 참여해주신 버전은 또 다른 매력을 지니고 있습니다. 조금 더 자유롭고 신나는 분위기라, 모든 걸 내려놓고 이 순간을 즐기고 싶을 때 듣기 좋은 버전이라고 생각해요. 드라이브할 때 들으셔도 참 좋을 것 같은데 물론 안전 운전하셔야 해요!

 

다가오는 투어에서 팬들이 기대할 만한 점은 무엇인가요? 무대 준비는 어떻게 진행되고 있나요?

윈터: 새로운 투어인 “SYNK : COMPLæXITY”를 통해 정말 많은 새로운 도시들을 방문하고, 저희의 라이브 공연을 처음 보실지도 모르는 팬분들을 만날 생각에 무척 설렙니다. 저희는 매 공연을 정말 특별하게 만들고 싶고, 퍼포머로서나 하나의 팀으로서 에스파가 얼마나 성장했는지 모든 분께 보여드리고 싶어요.
